Back in April, I was asked to be a keynote speaker at the Food Safety & Innovation Conference, scheduled for 24/6
The topic? Waste.
Unbee-lievable.
Right up my street — so, naturally, I had to say “yes.”
Next thing I knew, I was standing in the auditorium with — The Hornet — and someone asked: “When is the book out?”
And that’s when it hit me:
When is the book out?
Turns out, writing it is one thing.
Releasing it? Whole different swarm.
You need to buy ISBNs.
Nobody really tells you how.
It’s not hard — it’s just… new.
And new things are, well, new.
Then I discovered you have to register the book to a specific ISBN, and if you want it on Amazon, that can take 5 to 10 days.
So I worked backwards.
If the event was on 24/6, and the book needed to be live… then that meant BookData day had to be 24/7.
And that was it.
No more drafts. No more delays.
Game on.
